Leeds Castle

TV Campaign

In the 3 years since Leeds Castle’s last television campaign, the castle has added to its portfolio of onsite attractions, and the brand has moved on dramatically. We were entrusted to create a commercial worthy of ‘The Loveliest Castle in the World’, to inform and remind their local audience of what’s on offer.

Leeds Castle’s entrance fee allows each visitor to purchase their ticket on arrival and re-use it as many times as they like within 12 months; ‘Pay once and visit all year round’. Our brief was to communicate this, and to highlight the castle, its stunning grounds and to entice them to visit time and time again.

If you’ve ever been to Leeds Castle you’ll no doubt have developed a fondness for it and will be able to tell us at least one thing you loved about your visit. We used the same principle within a simple yet effective script, highlighting that there’s so much to love at the castle. The concept has formed a larger social media campaign amongst Facebook and Twitter users, as they start dialogues about what they love about the castle.

The commercial was shot in high definition over the course of a (long) day with a hardworking team of 10 crew, a raptor crane and some of the best cameras around. The commercial was filmed, edited and approved by Clearcast for broadcast within five days.
