E-ACT

Dartmouth Academy

Under the leading education sponsor E-ACT, two schools were joined together to form the all-through 3-16 Dartmouth Academy. Thanks to our pitch-winning strategy, Zest was appointed to work with students, staff and shareholders in developing a new brand for the academy. We needed to consider the ethos and values of the educational institution, the location and culture of the community and the students themselves.

The challenge was to draw inspiration from the traditional heritage of the town, whilst reflecting modern and contemporary ways of learning. Students voted on the brand identity they wanted to embrace for the academy and a new logo and uniforms were created along with a suite of communication materials including a new website, student planners and a prospectus.

The result was overwhelmingly positive with great feedback from students and the community. Zest developed and delivered an integrated package under tight deadlines, helping Dartmouth Academy become a model for other educational institutions.
